A place to rebuild — with dignity.
Mission
To provide a faith-centered, recovery-focused home and supportive services that empower men to overcome life's challenges and restore their dignity, stability, and purpose.
Vision
A community where every man, regardless of his past struggles, has the opportunity to heal, rebuild, and thrive in faith, family, and society.
Purpose
To uplift men in transition by offering safe housing, guidance, and faith-centered support that fosters resilience, accountability, and long-term success.
Faith-centered, not faith-based.
Hijrah House is faith-centered, not faith-based. The home is rooted in Islamic values of dignity, accountability, and community — and welcomes men of all faiths and backgrounds.
There is no required religious programming. Support services — case management, peer recovery support, resource navigation — are secular and open to everyone.
A foundation for what comes next.
Hijrah House is a nonprofit subsidiary of Mumineen Community Development Corporation (MCDC). Within MCDC's Stability & Opportunity Framework, Hijrah House occupies the Stabilization stage — the foundation from which residents move toward capability building and economic mobility.
The home also draws on the community of Masjid Al Mumineen, anchoring it in lived support.
