Is this a religious program?

No. We are faith-centered, not faith-based. The home is rooted in Islamic values and welcomes men of all faiths. There is no required religious programming.

How long can someone stay?

There is no fixed time limit. Residents stay as long as they need; most reach stability within 60–90 days.

What does it cost?

$750/month, payable weekly, biweekly, or monthly, plus a one-time $250 service/intake fee that may be waived. Sponsorship by a community organization is possible.

Do you accept people on parole or probation?

What's included?

A furnished bed in a shared (sometimes single) room, weekly case management, peer recovery support, optional biweekly recovery coaching, and resource navigation.

Is it a sober home?

Yes — it is a substance-free environment. No drugs, alcohol, or non-prescribed substances.

Are you a certified recovery residence?

Not yet. MCDC participates in the Recovery Works faith-based pilot, and we are pursuing Recovery Works ASO provider certification, anticipated around July 2026.
